…a candle of repentance,
mourning for the innocent
victims of abortion
and for their mothers
The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. (Romans 13:12)
By not protecting the vulnerable women and children in our church and community, we have violated the most basic tenets of our faith (James 1:27, Mark 12:31, Matthew 18:1-14). Our actions (or lack of actions) have not only resulted in the deaths of innocent children, but have brought death upon our ourselves (Romans 6:23).

God wants us to confess our sins (agreeing with His assessment of our behavior) so that we can walk in His light as He cleanses us from all unrighteousness through the holy blood of Jesus Christ (1 John 1:5-10), which He willingly sacrificed for us — a free gift we cannot earn (Romans 6:23).

Our repentance should be reflected by the works we do (Acts 26:20), fulfilling the purpose which God in His grace planned for us (Ephesians 2:8-10). Repentance is not just a one-time act, but a lifestyle God has prepared for every Christian (Luke 9:23, 1 Corinthians 15:31).

Join us in the LifeVigil as a life-saving demonstration of this path of repentance God has set before you. (If you choose not to walk in repentance, we ask you respectfully to refrain from participating in the LifeVigil.)
